Our Blooms

At the heart of our flower garden, dahlias rule the roost—stunning in their endless variety of shapes, colors, and sizes, bringing depth and vibrancy to every bouquet.

In 2025, we'll be growing over 30 dahlia varieties, ensuring that each season’s harvest is rich in texture and color.

We also cultivate a diverse selection of cut flower varieties, each chosen to add movement, whimsical charm and little wild to every arrangement.

With a background in environmental education and invasive species management, we are committed to growing with intention. Whenever possible, we incorporate native and non invasive species, knowing that their presence supports biodiversity, nurtures native pollinators, and creates a more resilient ecosystem.

Land Acknowledgement

Long before I arrived, and long after I leave, Indigenous Peoples have maintained deep, essential relationships with this land. I live today on the banks of the Columbia River—also known as the Swift River—in what is now called Revelstoke, BC. This land is sacred to many Indigenous groups, including the Ktunaxa, Syilx Okanagan, Secwepemc, and Sinixt Peoples, who have lived, hunted, gathered, traded, and cared for these lands and waters for countless generations.

This place is especially significant for the Sinixt, or People of the Bull Trout, who were, until recently, wrongfully declared “extinct” in Canada—a painful reminder of the ongoing impacts of colonialism and the erasure of Indigenous presence.

The land I live and grow on is rich, diverse, powerful, and awe-inspiring. It calls for attention—to the rhythms of the river, the soft rains of spring and fall, and the winter snow that replenishes the soil. I’m deeply grateful to live here, and to be able to grow flowers on this land that offers so much.

I am continually learning, and doing my best to grow native plants that support local pollinators, while deepening my understanding of the plants that truly belong to this landscape.

This land shapes how I live and how I work. It inspires me to tread lightly, to stay curious, and to act with care.
